Hi Mary, a dog weighing 25kg would be fed 2-3% of their body weight per day over two meals (Ideally breakfast and before bed). At 2.5% as a guide you would need to feed your dog 625g per day in total over these two meals. In regards to itching there are many many possible causes from air allergens, food protein allergens, food intolerances, skin fungal infections, skin bacterial infections, fleas et cetera. We would more than welcome you to call us for a chat to see if our knowledge can be of any help, but with so many possible causes you can only try elimination of possible causes you can control.
